AMiT company supplies components for FORCITY SMART trams to Škoda Transportation, which will be operated by Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (Germany). These trams are equipped with the latest information systems, wifi and many other innovations. The trams are barrier-free and their maximum operating speed is 80 kph.

AMiT participates by supplying CCTV, audio and wifi systems. Passengers in the German cities of Mannheim, Heidelberg and Ludwigshafen will be able to travel with these trams for the first time at the end of year 2021.

Another similar delivery made by AMiT is for the FORCITY SMART trams that will run in the German city of Bonn. AMiT will also supply CCTV, audio and wifi systems to these trams. The trams will be in operation in 2022.

AMiT has in its portfolio for trams, in addition to the systems already mentioned, also TCMS Train Control & Management System, a complete passenger information system, a CCTV system, control panels and LAN components.
